Good morning, Fairbanks Families and Staff,

In November, Fairbanks Local Schools will be on the ballot to fund Phase II of the Master Facility Plan. The two ballot issues will fund a full renovation of the middle and high school building, a 19,000 square foot addition to the front of the building, a 12,000 square foot multi-purpose competition gymnasium, and infrastructure improvements around campus.
These plans continue to address the 3 Cs of Facilities in Fairbanks:
Capacity - Enrollment, Classroom Availability, and District Growth
Curriculum - Facilities and space that meet needs of learners graduating to college, the workforce, or military.
Capital Improvements - HVAC, School Security and Safety, and other Physical Improvements

Over the coming weeks, the district will host several informational meetings and open forums. Tomorrow, we will host our first community coffee at Richwood Coffee in Plain City. The coffee will begin at 8:30 am. Please see other dates below:
Community Coffees - August 9, August 25, September 13, September 29, October 11, October 27. These will rotate between Richwood Coffee in Marysville and Plain City. All coffees will begin at 8:30 am.
Superintendent Office Hours - August 22, September 5, September 26, October 10, October 31. All Office Hours will be from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Middle/High School Media Center. This is not specific to the levy, but a forum to discuss topics across Fairbanks Local Schools.
House Calls - Locations to be determined. Tentative Dates - September 10, September 24, October 15, October 29. House Calls have been used over the last two years to connect with our great school community. If you would like to host a house call or have questions, please reach out to me at adhamschirg@fairbankspanthers.org.
Levy Information Meetings - August 21, September 18, October 16. Prior to regular board meetings, there will be levy information meetings beginning at 6:00 pm. All meetings will be in the Middle/High School Media Center.
