Dear Fairbanks Families,
The next two years are going to be very busy with facility work across Fairbanks Local Schools. The following work is planned for completion:
2025: High School HVAC Replacement, Secure High School Entrance and Common Space, Updated Student Restrooms, Staff Workroom, and Campus Access Road
2026: Middle School HVAC Replacement, Science and Vocational Agriculture Classroom Renovations, Softball Field, Baseball field, and other athletic site renovations
Yesterday, we shared a Master Facility Planning update. You can view the video here: October Facility Update . Additionally, the Master Facility webpage has been updated to reflect our overall planning, renderings, and financial outlook. On October 28 and November 14 at 6:30 pm, there will be informational meetings to review these plans as well as the construction schedule, calendar, and answer questions residents may have. The meetings will be held in the High School/Middle School Media Center. We hope that you can attend one of these meetings.
